Back Again…

  • A few weeks have gone by and Mels shop is officially open. And running well you would think she would have had her grand opening but no she’s a little backwards that way her and yaya are getting everything organized for a specific day discounts for everyone buy one get one free. As usual Mel stayed to check restocks and to do inventory when a man with a familiar voice came in.

Josiah : Hey beautiful how have you been ? 

Melody : (stood in disbelief for a second) oh hi I’ve been fine and your self

Josiah : I’ve been decent but you know what I realized is this gorgeous designer I met a few weeks back never called. why is that ?

Melody : (starts laughing) see what happen was.

Josiah : Nope don’t even try it.

Melody : Just standing with a straight face

Josiah :  I’m gone tell you what in two days I’m gone be free have your schedule clear because I’m taking you out. and no we will not go back to my house unless you want too (chuckles to his self) I will pick you up from here and I’ll take care of the rest .

Melody : So I guess I don’t have a say Mr persistent.

Josiah : No not at all I told you if I have to come in her almost everyday until you said yes that’s gone be the case. I just wanted to see if you would budge so I had to help you myself . Look I’ll pick you up around 7 ish be ready I’ll see you then.

Melody : Alright Mr Ross.

Josiah : (stops and looks at her) hmmm I knew you liked me

The Flashback/ The Ex….

  • The shop has been coming along retail stocking has made a huge progress and melody’s goals have been slowly coming together. But as of late Memories have been slowly reemerging. Memories she’s fought hard to keep at bay . Why? (she thought to herself ) after all these years your still in my mind even after everything you did to me your the reason I always  leave every relationship. The root to why they don’t last , you hurt me so bad I don’t want to feel like this no more. [I need a drink]……..

Just A Few More Days….

  • Camera Clicks On 

Melody : So I’m back like I never left (laughing ) who missed me . Any who don’t mind my face resting bit*ch  is easy work I’m not mad or anything just here at the shop putting finishing touches on orders. I need to finish up touches on my sketches as well trying to be a well known designer is hard work. What was I about to say oh yeah I colored my hair. I guess I’ll be this color for awhile not to mention I been meaning to do this live for you all for awhile.  Tell me why this guy came into my shop an no i’m not open yet but let me just tell you he was fine I had to rethink life a few times. He told me to call him but that might not happen don’t think its the right time for a new interest . 

                                  On that note I’ll talk to you all later

Who Is You… 

  • Meanwhile at the shop Melody was setting up the rest of the items on the shelf . when she realized that she forgot to lock the door. Her shop wasn’t going to be open for a few days but as she was about to make her way to the door this stranger came in she felt her legs went numb and started to breathe heavy she caught herself and manged to say were not open yet I meant to lock the door .

Unknown Stranger : Miss do me a favor please don’t say that I got this award to go to an as I can see from the display window you got some bomb merchandise. But I must say the creator of such creations is gorgeous herself.

Melody : (Thinking to herself/ This man so fine I needs to calm my nerves be professional Mel get it together) Well I guess I can make an exception first costumer. What exactly are you looking for?

Unknown Stranger : Thanks beautiful , umm something casual but classy and I’ll take them kicks as well an a few of those dress shirts.

Melody : Alright we can do that I’ll need your name email if you have one an a phone number. So if you decide to come back an buy you can get discounts off merch buy one get one free things of such

The Get Up…

  • The next day Melody met up with Yahnika an Eden. They went to the park where she caught up with her bestfriend an cousin they sat for awhile. Mel was in need of girl talk since the shop was finally finished plus yaya was saying she needed to find a another job. Since the one she has was working her nerves.


Yaya : Girl whats up ? where have you been  I been calling hows the shop coming an when is we planing this girls trip.

Melody : Hey heffa , I been meaning to call you back life has been hectic plus setting up shop took a minute. An E look at you cuz you slaying that outfit (lauging ) thrilla.

Eiden : Yes you know me got’s to look fly got a date later on decided to get ready early so just in case buddy stand me up this outfit don’t go to waste.

Melody : I feel you , Yaya speaking of shop I know you ready to leave that assistant job so I was thinking do you want to come work with your girl an lest’s make these money moves.

Yanika : You know what that’s not bad at all I’m still gone look just so I can have a second income you know need that extra spending money 

Melody : Girl yesss got’s to support these habits (laughing)

Guess Who’s Back….

Hi my loves It’s been awhile , Did you miss me ? (laughs to herself )

Well either way I missed you all so so so much things have been different for starters what’s not different is I’m still single I’m in no rush though.  I finally finished  my Fashion Degree so I’m officially a designer on papers anyway I already had the shop but shruggs. About that I’m thinking about selling my shop. An no I’m not giving up on it just need more space so there will be a Mel’s Get In Gear Shop 2.0 coming soon in the making I’ll keep you all posted on that  so I guess that’s it for now oh yeah one more thing awhile back I said I would do questions if you all had any for me decided to call it ask Mel I’ll be setting up for that it will be tuesday’s an thursday’s…..
