Too Much Work Not Enough Play…

• It’s been a few weeks since the break up. An in order to keep Melody’s mind busy she’s been working more at the shop then usual. She quit her job at the juice bar , finished up her college courses at the university for her fashion / arts major filled out the application for this fashion intern position snagged the job of course she has to start from the bottom to get to the top in other news things are looking up for her her relationship life is non existent at the moment. She hasn’t seen her high school friends in awhile so she called up Amara an Trish to go out to the club for drinks an to catch up.

Trish : So what’s been going on with you hooker ? it’s been a minute I know we all been busy but we got’s to do this more.

Melody : You know me same old same old I just finished up my college courses. Got this new gig as an intern hopefully something more so I can get my sketches out an a lot more of my designs in other places an not just my store you know.

• Melody has been dealing with her emotions lately going up an down. It wasn’t so much of the break up but more so of the cheating this was the worst feeling to her . • The next day Melody called Tommy over she was nervous. But also ready to get this over with she didn’t know what or how she was going to explain it to him but knew it had to be done.

What Did I Do…..

• A few days had passed an Melody wasn’t feeling like herself she decided to open up shop but before it was time o set up an restock. She called her sister Sawyer to tell her about what went down between her an Salem.

Sawyer : hey Indie , where have you been ? you’ve been ignoring my phone calls an texts that’s not like you. What’s going on ?

Melody : ( Before she explained herself she took a heavy breath ) I know i’m sorry citrus , I just had a lot on my mind. So a few days ago after I left Zeland’s house Salem called me over to hang out which normally I do anyway when I’m bored. • Mel had been out for most of the day with Zeland catching up on old times an drinking any regular Girls night out until her Phone rang. It was Salem calling asking her to come an chill for a lil while she says yes cause she was getting ready to go home anyway an he lived next door when she got there he had cooked meatballs. Which was good for her she hadn’t eaten all day.She noticed the mood was different tonight then any other time she would come over. Salem was checking her out , an maybe it was the drinks too because she liked it no thoughts of Tommy popped into her had what so ever. The Day Is Long But The Night Is Cold / Hidden Talents Two

• It’s Days where Melody just feels trap and needs away to escape. snow has been falling for about two weeks straight it got so cold it started to stick. At times at night her thoughts are the loudest so she grabs her skates and heads to the ice rink. Growing up Melody’s mom put Sawyer and her into figure skating classes Sawyer didn’t like the classes she would come home complaining about falling it just wasn’t for her. Melody on the other hand loved it she got really good even could of went further she chose not to she had other things in mind instead.
